"The purpose of the District is to provide for the adoption of sound water quality, proper land use, and soil conservation practices on all lands in the District, to assist with the development of a prosperous agricultural economy, and to foster other community development for the general welfare and security of the people of the District.

SWCD board meetings: second  Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Federal Building.

The Board also holds quarterly tours and special workshops. Contact the SWCD if you would like to be noticed or participate.

Special meetings of the SWCD will be posted outside the SWCD office door a minimum of three days in advance.
